Chinese police is making full efforts to investigate a dumpling poisoning case in the country, said a spokesman of the Chinese Foreign Ministry on Wednesday.
Qin Gang made the remarks when responding to a reporter's question on the progress of the investigation of the dumpling poisoning case in June.
Qin said the Chinese government attached great importance to this case, and the Chinese police was fully investigating the case.
He called for parties concerned to adopt an scientific and objective attitude towards the issue and not to rush to conclusions before finding the truth.
Qin said he believed Chinese consumers could regard this incident in a calm, scientific and objective way.
